There is nothing more important than starting your day with a good breakfast with natural and alive nutrients, your day will be full of a lot of energy, more than a coffee.
Red berries contain high levels of vitamin C as antioxidants. Green leaves contain high levels of iron as many more nutrients, the combination of both will help you better iron absorption for your liver.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of fresh Almond milk*
1/2 cup frozen Blueberries
1/2 cup of Spinach or Kale
1 TBS flax seed meal
1 TBS Hemp seed protein powder
Sweeter of choice, preferably natural sugars (Banana, dates, honey, maple syrup)

DIRECTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a Blender and purée until smooth.
Serve immediately, while chilled and fresh, chewing well to better release the enzymes needed to digest the proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
NOTE
Feel free to vary the fruit in this recipe, using frozen strawberries, raspberries, blackberries or bananas. Add water to find the right consistency for your palate and adjust the sweetness to suit your taste.
