Pico de Gallo (Salsa)

Salsa has been a Mexican staple for a very long time. While there are many options at the grocery store, nothing is better than what you make at home...for your health and taste-buds.


Ingredients

  • 4 Roma Tomatoes: de-seeded & diced

  • 2/3 cup White Onion: finely diced

  • 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro: organic, finely chopped

  • 1 small Serrano or Jalapeno: seeds & ribs removed, finely chopped

  • 1 Lime: juiced

  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan Salt: to taste

  • 1/2 tsp Oregano: optional

  • 1 TBS Olive Oil: optional


Instructions

  1. Once you have prepared all the ingredients, add them to a bowl and thoroughly mix together.


Wait 15 minutes or longer to let all the flavors marry together.


Serve with Tortilla Chips and Enjoy!!
