This recipe is a healthy version of classical chickens strips. Coated with almond flour & spices, it's also known as Almond Flour Fried Chicken; crunchy on the outside, moist inside and full of flavor this delicious dish will become your favorite.
Using Almond Flour as a healthy substitute for breadcrumbs will make a nice difference in this dish, it's flavor and healthyness.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb Chicken Breast or tenderloins, boneless and skinless
1 cup of Almond Flour (or almond meal)
1 tbsp Garlic or Onion (powder/granulates)
1 tsp Sea Salt
2 Large Eggs
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
2 tbsp Grapeseed Oil
2 tbsp Olive Oil
DIRECTIONS
Wash and rinse the chicken breasts, pat dry with paper towel and slice into 1 or 2 inch-wide strips.
Use a meat tenderizer to pound the chicken pieces a few times on a cutting board
In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, garlic, black pepper and salt; in a different bowl, whisk the eggs.
Dip each chicken strip into the egg, then coat with the almond flour mixture.
Heat the Grape-seed and Olive Oils in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sauté the chicken in the oil for 3 to 6 minutes per side, until golden brown.
Transfer the chicken to a paper towel-lined plate and serve hot.
